Sirach 3:30

LXX_WH⁽ⁱ⁾ ³⁰ πῦρ φλογιζόμενον ἀποσβέσει ὕδωρ καὶ ἐλεημοσύνη ἐξιλάσεται ἁμαρτίας

Wycliffe⁽ⁱ⁾ ³⁰ Helthe schal not be to the synagoge of proude men; for whi the thicke wode of synne schal be drawun out bi the roote in hem, and it schal not be vndurstondun.

Geneva⁽ⁱ⁾ ³⁰ The perswasion of the proude is without remedie, and his steppes shall be plucked vp: for the plant of sinne hath taken roote in him, and he shal not be esteemed.
